Norman King IV

Norman Joseph King IV is a writer, director, and actor born and raised in Washington D.C.   In 2019 he was accepted into the Global BFA program at Emerson College in Boston and Paris College of Art (PCA) in Paris France.

 

Norman has traveled all over the world, however, the opportunity to spend three years studying in Europe, more specifically Paris, France, and Limburg, the Netherlands, enhanced his exposure to a variety of cultures which helped to strengthen his creative skills and content. While living in Paris, Norman was able to direct several short films working with talented student crews.  He was also able to create an online TV talk show, My 2 Cents, which focuses on interviews with diverse teens & young adults in a variety of locations all over the world, sharing unique experiences.

In 2022, Norman graduated with a dual degree in Film Arts from Emerson College and Paris College of Art (PCA).​ Paris was the perfect city to create his thesis short film “Look At Me” which boasted an international cast and crew. "Look At Me" was selected to screen in film festivals in  Amsterdam, London, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.

 

Norman’s ability to speak and converse in several languages allows thought as a writer, director, and actor to participate and contribute to many levels of understanding. Norman is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Russian. 

 

In 2023, Norman became the Assistant to the Executive Producer at PBS/WETA on the National Productions: Special Projects team, working on fundraising, and research and development for new broadcast series, documentaries on healthcare and well being.

 

In 2024, Norman moved to Los Angeles and signed with Peter Kallinteris Agency for commercial acting. 

Norman recently worked as the Head of Social Media Production for the new Hollywood Musical, Adventures in the Great Beyond. 

 

Norman currently assists as the Project Coordinator at Meret Productions, located at the LOT at Formosa in West Hollywood. Norman continues to act in films and commercials through Peter Kallinteris Agency.

Daily, he writes television and film scripts and works to further his career in the entertainment industry.
